Here are the latest additions to my closet, purchased on my birthday! Colored shorts are definitely a personal favorite, as I have quite a few pairs of them. I swear by J. Crew shorts - they’re short, but not too short, they’re super comfortable and ultra versatile as they can be dressed up or down!
(We clearly can't get enough of J. Crew - hope you all love it as much as we do!)

It's safe to say I'm a bit obsessed, don't you think?? The shirt and shorts were both picked up at the J. Crew outlet on my way out east with lovey. J. Crew, did you really have to tell me the shirt is "perfect?" I think I would've figured that out on my own ;)

A similar style is selling online for $78 - I snagged this one for...wait for it...$30!
(Have I convinced you to venture to the outlets yet?) Lovey was so proud!

Bonus for me: button-tab sleeves.
That way I can roll my sleeves up alla Bradley Cooper in The Hangover.

Oh, how I love sales... I cannot describe that flutter in my heart when I hear that a favorite store of mine is having a sale, and the joy of purchasing something that I love, for a lesser price! I like to think of it as "saving money" (although, I would be saving if I purchase nothing at all, on sale or not..) and therefore, I feel better about myself buying a dress or a shirt when it is marked 30% off!

The perfect white jean is an essential for summer. These J Brand jean leggings are perfect!

This lightweight Splendid cotton tank is bright and cheery for the sunny weather.

These Elizabeth and James snakeskin platform sandals are amazing. I want.

Bright orange nails are one of my favorites for this season, I definitely have to get this color for my next mani.

Tom Ford, you never fail to make be beg for a new pair of sunnies. This oversized pair would flatter anyone!

This House of Harlow necklace may be my next purchase - it's a fave.

As you can probably tell from some of my previous posts, I love the look of long sleeved tops with shorts! Don’t get me wrong, come late July and the thought of wearing anything long will make me beg for air conditioning - but for now, these shorts and long shirts combo is definitely a go-to look for me. My red lip color is a fave for the summer - it’s a makeup trend that you will definitely be seeing more of!

Hello, loves! I wore this outfit to a graduation luncheon recently. When I saw these shorts, I instantly fell in love with the print - they were one of a few left at the J. Crew outlet store (a must go if you've never been - these shorts were $23!) and luckily the fit was perfect, too!

Now you may be wondering "what's with the two hats?" (or, frankly, why any hat at all?!) Well, my Momma suggested a hat to "top off my look" (see what I did there?), so I indulged her with not one but two! I ended up donning a chapeau (mother knows best!) and I'll leave it up to you guys to guess which one.

Tell me, which way do you like it best?? Hat or no hat? Orange or beige?

may sway some of you in one direction or another ;) )

As of 11:15 AM this past Friday, my summer vacation officially started! As I sat anxiously waiting for my final English exam to be complete, I excitedly thought about my upcoming plans for this summer - one of them being the Sweet Sixteen of a friend that night. I decided to wear this Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress - which was borrowed from my Mommy’s closet - and paired it with this gorgeous bracelet (also borrowed from my Mommy’s collection...she really has such incredible taste!)

This was my first time wearing a leopard print dress…what do you think? It’s definitely a new favorite for me!

I found this jumpsuit at Forever 21 a few weeks ago. I've got to admit, I was a jumpsuit skeptic, but this one has me "jumping" for joy! (I couldn't resist!) I'm digging the tribal print, and the fabric is so light and airy and perfect for super-hot summer days. I gleefully skipped out of the store a little too quickly, though, and later noticed that the matching belt was missing. No worries - nothing a little Chanel couldn't remedy ;)

Here it is...the debut of my new Louis bag! I am absolutely in love with it, and I'll admit - I catch myself staring at it constantly! With its rather colossal size, I can carry around basically everything in it! It's perfect for anything - from a weekend trip to even just carrying it around every day (which is what I plan on doing)!

And hey, maybe Giggy can fit inside, too ;)

On Saturday the 11th, I celebrated my seventeenth birthday! (Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!)
It truly was such an amazing day spent with the people who mean the most to me-my family. The day was spent shopping (with Giggy, of course) and I got some gorgeous new additions to my wardrobe that you all will definitely be seeing in upcoming posts! (Hint: one thing was on my want list! Can you guess what it is??)
