Our to-do board on Pinterest has become one of our favorite things, and it's no shocker that a D.I.Y. bracelet inspired by DANNIJO landed on it. Since I lost my friendship bracelet skills back in 4th grade, an Honestly WTF tutorial had to do! (Coupled with this D.I.Y. video, since I'm more of a visual learner).
Luckily Sally had a lot of leftover string, so I was off and braiding!

First I braided the bracelet into a little chevron pattern ("easy" on the friendship bracelet difficulty scale, but seriously, it's tricky and almost made me wish I had just bought the DANNIJO bracelet - the work that goes into these things definitely justifies the price).
When my amazement wore off, I headed back to Honestly WTF for the second part of the tutorial - the chain! This part was much simpler and totally something 23 year old Jilly could handle.
Now back to Pinterest for my next project.. ;)
Congratulations! It looks great, and even better when on your wrist! :)

Oh my goodness that is AMAZING! I just recently made DIY bracelets as well haha and wow. I am in awe at your chevron pattern. Are you going to sell these?! If so, you've just found yourself a customer!
