Sometimes less is definitely more.
One color can go a long way, and paired-down accessories can take you on some great adventures. For instance, had I been wearing heels, lovey and I would have never been able to venture through some rough terrain to reach this beautiful hidden space we had overlooked many times, just in time for the sunset.

spring preview

The weather was so amazing this weekend. I'll take as many Spring teasers as Winter is willing to give me! I was searching for a new way to wear my cut-out shoulder shirt, so I decided to let some stripes peek through. So far I'm digging the combo, and have since been rummaging through my closet for more patterns to mix..

I still can't get over the excitement that was Wednesday night.
After months of waiting, the February issue of NYLON was finally released! With entourage in tow,
I headed to the StyleCaster + Sebastian magazine launch party at the Darby Downstairs..

Our night included a crazy crowd, sick music, a photo booth we had a little too much fun in front of, and ended with a conversation with THE Man Repeller herself. We chatted about my eyebrows and our matching Hermès bracelets.. yes, that actually happened..

And here it is, my magazine debut! I'm literally still floating on air..

I am officially a photoshop victim, too! Missing a chunk of one leg never felt so good..

The magazine's on newsstands now! I even picked myself up at the supermarket yesterday - how crazy is that!?

Today we woke up to a world of powdery whiteness - Winter is finally here!

chocolate roll cake

Lovey was at it again this week - he was baking and cooking up a storm! The aftermath left us with not one but two chocolate roll cakes. And let me tell you, they were deeelish. Now let's have some fun - a cake in pictures:

We literally cracked up over the end result. It looked so womp womp. We were convinced we did something wrong, but it tasted amazing! Check out what the cake's really supposed to look like here, but don't be disappointed, they don't have any of our supercool animations. Ha! ;)
