Is anyone else as excited for Thanksgiving as I am? I'm pretty excited..I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. Here's my take on the equestrian "trend" that has been going on...forever, really. Seriously, try to imagine a time when the classic riding boot wasn't a necessity in Fall/Winter wear!

This is another example of how sisters come in handy! Something was feeling a bit off when I threw the furry beast jacket over this colorful getup. The dress length? The jacket length? The linebacker shoulders? But before I sent the jacket back into its cage (a.k.a., my closet), I stood in front of the most honest mirror I could find: Sally.

She offered up her white blazer in place of the fur, and cinched me up with a little Chanel.

We emerge from the weekend in a rare Sally and Jilly appearance! Get excited.

What brought us together in front of the camera? The CurrentlyObsessed.me + ASOS Top Influencers party.
We were named one (or should we say, two) of the Top 120 Influencers on Currently Obsessed,
and were invited to the Soho House in NYC to celebrate!

Such an occasion called for a pre-party photo shoot, sequins, matchy shirts, and duck faces..

My cat eye sunnies arrived just in time for the new year! Luckily I got a few moments of sunlight in with them before heading off for some end-of-2011 festivities. This shimmery H&M number finally got to see the light of day as well - it's been hanging in my closet just waiting for a holiday to be worn!

Rather than being predictable by wearing the cold-weather-color-norms, such as deep burgundies, rich hunter greens and gorgeous berry and red lip colors, I opted for the unexpected, wearing my bright blue jeans and my new and perhaps favorite lip color, YSL's 7 Le Fuchsia.

the bare wrist fix: jungle boogie

As you could've guessed from the ample amounts of leopard print on this blog, we are loving
anything and everything animal print lately! This week's fix is all about our furry, scaly, spotted friends.

Whether or not these animals co-exist in the wild is debatable. But they certainly look good together on a wrist!

When my Mommy got me my royal blue jeans that I wore in my last post, she also purchased these bright red ones, too! I absolutely love these - they brighten up any outfit much more than regular jeans would.

Since I retired my flip flops, I have been constantly wearing boots, and these Lucchese alligators are my absolute favorite! Given to me by my Poppy, these boots fit so comfortably and I absolutely adore them!

Rummaging through my closet in hopes of finding something different to wear, I discovered these royal blue jeans that my Mommy got me months ago! Since I purchased this moto jacket weeks ago, I have been wishing for a chilly day to wear it ever since...and now that Fall is finally upon us, and my jacket is serving its purpose of keeping me warm, I wish we could go back to the warmer weather!

I guess it's officially time to put away the flip-flops and pull out the riding boots!
