Yesterday was one of those days where I did not change out of my PJs..all day. Aren't those the best kind of days? Late at night, though, after weeks of Sally's pleading, I gave in and let her paint my nails with her new nail polish, Chanel Péridot! So my PJs got an instant upgrade.

the bare wrist fix: jungle boogie

As you could've guessed from the ample amounts of leopard print on this blog, we are loving
anything and everything animal print lately! This week's fix is all about our furry, scaly, spotted friends.

Whether or not these animals co-exist in the wild is debatable. But they certainly look good together on a wrist!

Through the years, I've learned that not much good comes out of dreading school - so I've (more recently) decided to look at the bright side - the beginning of a new school year entails a shopping trip for some new items to spruce up both my mood and my wardrobe!

I've picked a few pieces that are both back to school basics and some that I believe are necessary for transforming any outfit. Whether it be a fun backpack, a simple pair of flats to be worn over and over again, a blazer, a statement necklace or scarf to add something new to an old ensemble, this is my list of what to buy! Of course, for me, a fall staple is a long-sleeved mini dress-perfect to be worn over some tights, or in the cooler days, some leggings! The Rosebud Salve was on my want list because it the best moisturizer, hands down, and I believe one should never leave their house without a lip moisturizer!

Also added to the list was the NARS nail polish in Arabesque. As a back to school ritual, every year I go with my Mommy to the nail salon and get a fun, cheerful color to brighten up the dreadful mood that school puts me in - this color is so pretty and feminine, I love it!

Hope everyone has a lovely transition into fall - school starts tomorrow for me!

This is what 7:15AM looks like!
I'm basically still sleeping in these pictures, right before heading off to class.

I adore this dress. Way back when Barneys was only a ten minute drive from my house, I was addicted. I literally stopped in one morning on my way to campus to buy a new shirt since I decided the one I was wearing "just wasn't right." Now that it's a train rather than car ride away (sigh), I reminisce every time I wear something I bought there back in the good old days, like my dress (and my bag, too!).

Now I'm off to hit the books (still in this exact outfit, actually - now that's love!).

I swoon over chunky jewels. Seriously. The chunkier, the better. So lovey done good this time - reaaaal good.
I opened a box filled with goodies that he got me for my birthday, and found this necklace all wrapped up at the bottom! He's the cutest.

So I decided to chunk it up with all of my accessories: the gold/silver bracelet combo, the chunky wedges, the ring, even the bag. Just don't ask me to walk through any metal detectors. I'd have those babies buzzing like crazy.
