After unpacking from my last trip out east, I finally took stock of what I wore/didn't wear in an effort to streamline the packing process (and perhaps bring one overnight less!) for next time. My conclusion: mix and match pieces are key. Minus the PJs and toiletries, this is the ultimate, tested-and-approved, "What to Pack" Hamptons weekend list! I've been loving every minute of this gorgeous weather! It's the perfect excuse to break out all of my favorite summer pieces (or Mommy's, for that matter - this dress was stolen from her closet!).
My affinity for scarves is well-documented on this blog (see here, here, here, and here), so naturally I slipped into this dress quite comfortably! Oh so perfect for a breezy day on the water.

Yesterday was b-e-a-utiful! I didn't want to miss out, so I traded in the lawyer clothes the second I got home for something more weather-appropriate. I've wanted an iPad ever since it came out two years ago. I'd play with my friends' iPads. I'd look online to view the features that it had. I decided I'd wait, because like everything Apple, the second you buy something, the next day they release something newer, faster, and better. This year, my always way too generous Uncle gave me money for Christmas- and I knew exactly what I would buy with it - a black iPad 2! (I bet you $10 that any day now they will announce that an iPad 3 is coming out.)

Its safe to say that I'm obsessed with my newest toy, and in order to keep my iPad looking fabulous and fashionable, I must buy some cases for it! These are my absolute favorite ones :D

My iPad was one of, if not THE favorite Christmas present of mine this year!

Okay, you all know Sally and I have stolen many things from our Mommy's closet, but this sweater is of the greatest things that closet houses.

This is what we refer to as "the" sweater, the "feather sweater," which we've always admired in one particular photo of our Momma. It was handpicked and purchased by our Grandma, and has withstood (now three!) generations of stylish women approval (yes, we're including ourselves in that count..)
