Just a few shots before I headed out for a day of shopping. This Ella Moss dress is one of the most comfortable I own, so I decided to warm it up a bit for the chillier weather! The minty color and the hint of polka dots made for a perfect spring combination.

How pretty is this friendship bracelet from Mia Lia? It's a perfect pastel touch!
Sometimes one delicate strand can make a very big statement :)

catwoman

Ample sunshine this weekend left me with more time to break in my new sunnies. This time I completed the '60s superhero look with the infamous booties, which, I might add, have become infinitely easier to walk in!
Seriously - lovey even made me shoot some hoops in them. In this exact outfit.
There's a video for proof..but we'll save that for another day.

Never underestimate the power of eBay. When I originally saw these sunnies, I rushed to 80's Purple only to find out they were sold out in tortoise. Before I sprang for the virtually identical Alexander Wang pair (something I may had done had Christmas not induced an Alexander Wang overdose), I made a quick stop at eBay and
poof! Tortoise. For $10.
I may be somewhat of a superhero after all..

in palazzo

Okay, I did it again. And by "it" I mean stole Sally's clothes and worked them into a completely different outfit.
Partly because I loved her shirt, and partly because she stole my car for the day.
Either way, Sally ended up on the winning end of that deal..

Don't let your eyes fool you - these are in fact pants!
Hence the obligatory "kick-of-the-leg-so-as-to-prove-I'm-not-wearing-a-skirt" pose.
There's just something about palazzo pants that makes you want to twirl.

Remember little Giggy?? Well here he is, all grown up! He stood by watching as we took these shots,
and totally wanted in on the action. Looks like he loves palazzos as much as I do: see that smile?

So my first days back went well! But 6:30AM wake ups are a drag.
The antidote? A brighter-than-bright yellow top and colorful Hermès arm candy.
This textbook is one of five I'll be lugging around this semester. Yes, five.
How will I cope? The gym in very large doses - build up those biceps, baby!
Happy Monday!

Sally and I were all set for a shopping trip yesterday, but the weather had other plans!
Despite lovey's storm warnings, we set out anyway, only to get caught in the rain and have to head back home..
( You were right this time, lovey. You were right. :P )
Because of the hot and sticky air, my hair was waaaay too gross to expose to the world, hence the bun.
Ask Sally or pretty much anyone who knows me - this is the most tamed bun you will ever see on my head.
My buns have been known to take on so many different shapes and sizes, you have no idea!
So I rocked a Wilma Flintstone 'do (and necklace) for the day and we spent the afternoon watching old
RHONJ episodes. Doesn't beat a stroll down Madison Ave, but hey, those girls are muy entertaining.
