The Hermès accessories returned this weekend to dress up another inexpensive item, my Gap tee! They also added some extra girliness to my perfectly slouchy boyfriend chinos. I love how these pants can work with wedges or sneakers - so perfect for casual or dressy lunch dates.

When I saw this skirt, even though there wasn't a real place for it in my wardrobe, I knew I had to have it. It's metallic, it's printed, and best of all - it was on sale! Not going to lie, I popped this outfit on and out the door I went. It wasn't until I caught my reflection later that I realized I looked like.. a lifeguard. No? I see lifeguard. Sure the leopard belt throws it off a bit, but red, white, blue, stripes, aviators.. throw a little zinc oxide on my nose and I'm poolside-ready! But I must say, nothing beats a good old jeans-and-tee combo, whatever the colors.

Back in black and navy, with some brown thrown in the mix! This weather is totally throwing off the outfit groove. I'm in that strange seasonal limbo where I can't decide whether to go brights or darks, to layer or not to layer..you know the deal. Lovey's a first-hand witness who can attest to the fact that it takes me double the time to get dressed lately. I leave the big decisions to him.. like what's for dinner..
