It's starting to actually feel like Fall..finally! I don't know about you, but where we are the weather has been teetering between the two seasons which has made dressing properly a bit difficult. I'm definitely going to embrace the temperature drop with cozy long sleeved shirts and trench coats. With the change in weather and clothes of course comes switching up the makeup! I particularly like autumn because I can play up my fair skin tone with the trendy, beautiful lip and nail colors in burgundy.

the want list: back to school

Call me crazy, but I completely lose track of the days in summer. While this may be considered a luxury as I don't have a job or any major responsibilities, I was taken aback when I noticed that summer is basically over. Starting school on September 5th, I still have a little bit of time until I actually have to start acting like a human being and wake up before 3 PM every day.

Mommy's closet strikes again! This time it's a gorgeous fur scarf from Grandma.
I'm lucky I got my paws on it before Sally did! ;)

I finally figured out a way to wear this safari shirt-dress hybrid that had been sitting in my closet for far too long - I threw it over a dress and introduced it to some fur. This made lovey happy - he'd been haunting me to wear the dress since I bought it on one of the very first shopping trips we ever took together.
Little did he know what he was getting into..

Dark, rich greens could definitely be considered a favorite color of mine, so when I saw this Equipment blouse, I instantly wanted it. Don't even get me started on those Tom Fords - they're absolutely perfect. Pairing this outfit with beachy waves and a subtle sheer-shiny red lip would make for a gorgeous, effortless look.

Sally and I were all set for a shopping trip yesterday, but the weather had other plans!
Despite lovey's storm warnings, we set out anyway, only to get caught in the rain and have to head back home..
( You were right this time, lovey. You were right. :P )

Because of the hot and sticky air, my hair was waaaay too gross to expose to the world, hence the bun.

Ask Sally or pretty much anyone who knows me - this is the most tamed bun you will ever see on my head.
My buns have been known to take on so many different shapes and sizes, you have no idea!

So I rocked a Wilma Flintstone 'do (and necklace) for the day and we spent the afternoon watching old
RHONJ episodes. Doesn't beat a stroll down Madison Ave, but hey, those girls are muy entertaining.
