NYFW nail art

What do you get when you combine a blizzard, Sally's enviable nail polish collection, and hours spent on Style.com?! Fall 2013-inspired nail art. While we'll have to wait patiently to get our hands on our favorite Fall collections, we're wasting no time celebrating their runway debuts..

While we both fell for the outerwear at Yigal Azrouel, we spied a few metallic pieces that were equally as dazzling! Sally worked her nail art magic into a glittery black-and-bronze ombre to recreate the print.

It's safe to say we want every single piece that walked the Rebecca Minkoff runway. From that gorgeous leather-sleeved, fur-collared, yellow-lined coat, to the camo print and pops of color, the collection did us Minkettes proud, and served up tons of nail inspiration!

the want list: back to school

Call me crazy, but I completely lose track of the days in summer. While this may be considered a luxury as I don't have a job or any major responsibilities, I was taken aback when I noticed that summer is basically over. Starting school on September 5th, I still have a little bit of time until I actually have to start acting like a human being and wake up before 3 PM every day.

I've wanted an iPad ever since it came out two years ago. I'd play with my friends' iPads. I'd look online to view the features that it had. I decided I'd wait, because like everything Apple, the second you buy something, the next day they release something newer, faster, and better. This year, my always way too generous Uncle gave me money for Christmas- and I knew exactly what I would buy with it - a black iPad 2! (I bet you $10 that any day now they will announce that an iPad 3 is coming out.)

Its safe to say that I'm obsessed with my newest toy, and in order to keep my iPad looking fabulous and fashionable, I must buy some cases for it! These are my absolute favorite ones :D

My iPad was one of, if not THE favorite Christmas present of mine this year!
