As much as I love my chunky jewels, lately I'm all about simplifying. I guess now that I'm layering up my clothes, I'm pairing down when it comes to accessories. This is another example of how sisters come in handy! Something was feeling a bit off when I threw the furry beast jacket over this colorful getup. The dress length? The jacket length? The linebacker shoulders? But before I sent the jacket back into its cage (a.k.a., my closet), I stood in front of the most honest mirror I could find: Sally.

She offered up her white blazer in place of the fur, and cinched me up with a little Chanel.

We emerge from the weekend in a rare Sally and Jilly appearance! Get excited.

What brought us together in front of the camera? The CurrentlyObsessed.me + ASOS Top Influencers party.
We were named one (or should we say, two) of the Top 120 Influencers on Currently Obsessed,
and were invited to the Soho House in NYC to celebrate!

Such an occasion called for a pre-party photo shoot, sequins, matchy shirts, and duck faces..

Mommy's closet strikes again! This time it's a gorgeous fur scarf from Grandma.
I'm lucky I got my paws on it before Sally did! ;)

I finally figured out a way to wear this safari shirt-dress hybrid that had been sitting in my closet for far too long - I threw it over a dress and introduced it to some fur. This made lovey happy - he'd been haunting me to wear the dress since I bought it on one of the very first shopping trips we ever took together.
Little did he know what he was getting into..

The socks have returned in a different color, along with some more plaid in the form of my clutch. Lately I've had flashbacks of J. Crew's Spring 2012 collection and its perfectly mixed prints, so I thought I'd get a head start before warmer weather arrives. Both the clutch and socks happen to be J. Crew, too - coincidence? I think not.

Did I forget to mention that Anabela has a sister?! Her name is Lia, and she showed up in a big box on Christmas morning as well! Naturally they're inseparable - let's see what happens when they share the same outfit, shall we?

It seems they get along just as well as another sister duo I know ;)

Speaking of sharing, remember when we scored a ton of goodies from the Missoni for Target collection?! Well we've been receiving boxes for months now, and the latest arrival was this cardigan! In all of the madness we managed to snag one, so we'll have to pass it around among the three of us - yes, Mommy is included!
