the want list

t by alexander wang zip sweatshirt (available here), topshop black matt wet look leggings (available here),
belle noel honey hexagon hair comb in silver (available here), hunter crest wedge rain boot (similar style here),
american apparel umbrella, balenciaga "first" small metallic bag (similar style here), ysl oval black and silver ring (similar style here)

The weather's been so rainy and dreary this week. I have absolutely no desire to get dressed in anything other than comfortable clothing (while not sacrificing style, of course). A cozy-but-chic sweatshirt paired with some sleek, textured leggings makes for a perfect fashion-forward outfit on these rainy days. If your hair is like mine, unruly and unmanageable at the first sight of a rain drop, the only option is to place it in a high pony or fishtail. In these cases, it is definitely a must to incorporate some sort of hair jewelry for an added dose of sophistication.

Put on your rain boots, grab your bag and your umbrella and try your best to stay dry!

the want list: back to school

jeffery campbell rizzler in navajo (available here), tory burch reva flat (available here), h&m blazer (similar style here), NARS polish in arabesque (available here), topshop python necklace (available here), h&m dress (similar style here), marc by marc jacobs oversized aviators (available here), tory burch reversible belt, hunter regent carlyle rain boot (available here), missoni zigzag-pattered wool blend scarf (available here), cheap monday jeans (available here), smith's rosebud salve (available here)

Through the years, I've learned that not much good comes out of dreading school - so I've (more recently) decided to look at the bright side - the beginning of a new school year entails a shopping trip for some new items to spruce up both my mood and my wardrobe!

I've picked a few pieces that are both back to school basics and some that I believe are necessary for transforming any outfit. Whether it be a fun backpack, a simple pair of flats to be worn over and over again, a blazer, a statement necklace or scarf to add something new to an old ensemble, this is my list of what to buy! Of course, for me, a fall staple is a long-sleeved mini dress-perfect to be worn over some tights, or in the cooler days, some leggings! The Rosebud Salve was on my want list because it the best moisturizer, hands down, and I believe one should never leave their house without a lip moisturizer!

Also added to the list was the NARS nail polish in Arabesque. As a back to school ritual, every year I go with my Mommy to the nail salon and get a fun, cheerful color to brighten up the dreadful mood that school puts me in - this color is so pretty and feminine, I love it!

Hope everyone has a lovely transition into fall - school starts tomorrow for me!
